Your future responsibilities
To start your career as an intern at Nordea Investment Banking is an excellent opportunity to increase your understanding of M&A financing and debt capital markets.
We deliver debt and risk management solutions to corporate, financial institutions and sovereigns’. Our area of expertise includes advisory services covering capital structure advisory, integrated financing solutions in the bond markets, as well as origination and execution of complex debt finances.
On any given day, your work could range from fundamental credit analysis and financial modelling of acquisitions to assisting in creating sales pitch materials for a high yield bond refinancing or running deals together with more experienced colleagues through the various stages of raising debt in the capital markets. The tasks will be diverse and demanding and you will be rewarded for your hard work and commitment through the development of a competitive skill set and a unique experience that you will be able to benefit from throughout your career whether in investment banking or elsewhere.
We offer three positions during spring 2020, the internship lasts for 20 weeks and is based in Stockholm.
Who you are
Your profile and background:
- Strong academic track record
- Positive mindset and an enthusiastic approach to work;
- Ability to produce high quality work under tight deadlines;
- A genuine interest in the financial markets;
- Strong analytical and numerical skills;
- Fluency in English, both speaking and writing (preferably also in Swedish).
