We highly value being able to employ students and to help them gain practical experience. We make sure they receive an important role at the company. We are now looking for two students that want to be a part of our growth journey.

What we offer

You will be part of a team with people who value sharing experiences and knowledge and who see work as an opportunity to grow both professionally and as human beings. The team consist of people that have experience from successfully managing large investment mandates, building software systems for the investment management industry as well as building and running asset management companies and student employees.

You will work with the team cross-functionally and our goal is that you receive a good understanding of the day-to-day operations of an asset management company. Our office in Malmö is at a shared office space with a friendly atmosphere and with other interesting finance related companies. This office is where you will work primarily. Flexibility is nevertheless important for us and, for example during projects, we will always listen to what is most efficient for you to perform on your work.

Your primary responsibility will be on working as a part of our Middle Office team that will constitute of you and two other part-time student employees. The tasks are highly automated but continuous development of the processes take place. Tasks involve:

• Portfolio and trade reconciliation and administration;
• Risk analysis, risk reporting and risk- and compliance checks;
• NAV calculation and price checks;
• Monitoring of cash, security holdings and cash management; and
• Reporting to Back Office, Front Office and COO.

We are also constantly running projects that relate to our quantitative investment strategies, financial research, process development or process automation and in such projects, your assistance will be of value. If you are interested in accounting, there will be opportunities to take on responsibilities relating to the Financial Assistant function in both day-to-day work but also drafting financial reports, and in general, develop and streamline the function’s work.

Who are you?

Apart from looking for the right persons and people who value what we offer, we are looking for people who value getting hands-on experience during their studies.

We truly appreciate applicants:

•Being open-minded, curious and pragmatic;
•Enrolled at the Faculty of Engineering (e.g. Industrial Engineering and Management, Engineering Physics etc.); or
•Enrolled at the School of Economics and Management;
•Having at least two years left of their studies; and
•Interested in 5-15 hours work per week, including during the school’s winterand summer breaks. (Actual work hours and time of day may vary based onwhat projects you get involved in and your interests.)

In terms of skills, we are looking for students that have or are interested in earning qualities related to any of the following:

•Finance and financial research;
•Asset management;
•Software development (Python, Pandas, C#, MATLAB);
•Accounting; and/or
•Process automation and development.
